Restricting the availability of leveraged funds is simply un-American and would be a foolish move. I made 130% last year on one leveraged fund, why on earth would the government restrict my access to such an opportunity? Is the SEC going to fund my retirement? If they aren't going to fund my retirement, then they need to stay out of my way
The government has made enough screw ups for the last 4 years, don't add to the stupidity. We've got enough stupid as it is.
