Comment on SEC Proposed Rule #S7-24-15: I'm an Australian investor currently investing USA leveraged funds. I find the proposed new regulations on leveraged and inverse funds deeply concerning. I have invested into leveraged funds many times, those funds are important elements of my personal investment plan, and I have carefully considered and researched the inherent risks of them, such as the negative effect of rebalancing. Therefore, I don't need a third party to evaluate my capability to invest in leveraged funds, which very likely will cause huge amounts of bureaucratic delay and even total failure to invest, especially for international investors like me. I believe in the importance of preserving the long-standing tradition of free markets where investors and financial advisers have the freedom to buy public securities without additional, unnecessary government-imposed limitations on personal investing choices.
