Vanessa Countryman,
As a small shareholder, I object to these proposed rules. I believe I have a right to speak to the governance and policies of a company which I "own" as a shareholder. The rules would rob me of this right and make my ownership even more of a fiction than it is.
The SEC should be facilitating shareholder democracy, not undermining it. This new set of rules should not be advanced.
