Rule Comments,
I am a retired Printing Pressman and a proud Union member. I receive a pension that was created by the Union for my benefit. This pension has investments in stocks. I also have an IRA plan and some discretionary personal investment that are invested in stocks.
I object to the reforms that would allow Corporate CEOs want the SEC to make it harder to submit shareholder proposals at company annual meetings. These shareholder proposals encourage companies to act more responsibly on important social policy issues such as reforming executive pay, respecting human rights and protecting the environment. I implore that I do not want the rules tilted in favor of corporate CEOs.
Please pay heed to my concerns. A concerned Government Tax Paying and Main Street Investor.
