Rule Comments, Dear Sirs, I am a concerned investor,working at a major urban hospital,who is appalled at the prospect that I may be deprived of a say in how the companies that I invest in act responsibly towards their workers and their consumers via shareholder proposals. Shareholder proposals ensure that corporations answer to the people and not to the CEO. It makes sure that issues such as workers rights,fair pay,the environment,and human rights are not only heard but also acted upon.
