Rule Comments, I am a Professor Emerita of Zoology from Weber State University in Ogden, UT, having retired in 2003. I am also a person who cares about what happens to this country and the people in it, as well as what happens to the world at large. Currently and formerly employed people alike are invested in companies through various retirement plans, and they/we depend on shareholder proposals as part of a democratic process that holds corporate CEOs accountable. Recognizing that such accountability is not in fashion these days, I continue to care about having every American be responsible for their actions and be compassionate about the needs of others. This action would be a great boon for corporate CEO's - the last people on earth who need it - and would be a disaster to everyone else. STOP giving our lives away to the wealthy.
