Rule Comments, I own my own business and have been self-employed for many years. Working people like myself are invested in companies through our retirement savings. We depend on shareholder proposals as part of a democratic process that holds corporate CEOs accountable. I care about the environment, labor standards, executive compensation and human rights, and think that I should have the final say in how corporations invest their money; this direction should not come from lobbyists and CEOs. Main street investors like myself should be able to file shareholder proposals. Jacqueline Cutler [redacted]
