Rule Comments, I am a retired software system designer and analyst, supporting myself and my wife with invested savings and an IRA while I wait for Social Security. I know that increasing inequality will destabilize our economy and reduce long term, sustainable growth. If all profits are given to stockholders and executives, without rewarding labor or investing in infrastructure, education, health care, or the environment, our society will self-destruct.
