Rule Comments,
I urge you to ensure that all stockholders, even relatively minor stockholders such as myself, continue to have the ability to submit proposals for consideration at shareholder meetings. CEOs would like to severely limit the right of shareholders to submit proposals to protect or expand the interests of all stakeholders in the company.
I have been fortunate in being able to make small investments in successful companies, but I often see the CEOs of those companies putting their interests above the interest of the shareholders. I want to continue to have the ability to at least propose to other shareholders ways to improve the company.
Furthermore, I want to be able to bring proposals encouraging corporate responsibility for environmental, labor, and social justice issues related to all aspects of the company's activities.
I encourage you to expand shareholder access, not change the rules to enhance the power of CEOs to limit shareholder participation.
