Rule Comments,
I am retired. I spent 36 years as an Agriculture Inspector/Officer with the U.S.Department of Agriculture and 4 years as an Agriculture Specialist with Customs and Border Protection.
During that time I invested maximally in the Thrift Savings Plan. I am also invested in several Mutual Funds.
I care about corporate responsibility—labor standards, executive compensation, human rights and the environment.
Working people are invested in companies through our retirement savings. We depend on shareholder proposals as part of a democratic process that holds corporate CEOs accountable. We don’t want rules tilted in favor of corporate CEOs. We oppose making it harder for all Main Street investors to file shareholder proposals.
