Rule Comments,
I am a teacher, and have been for the past more than 45 years. I believe in the work I do, and I am fortunate to have a union represent me, and to have a pension plan, now that I am about to retire. Corporate responsibility is essential for working people to assure labor standards, human rights and environmental safety. It's not up to the Main Street investor to define under what conditions and millions of others should work. I do not want to see the SEC rules tilt in favor of corporate CEOs. Corporate CEOs are only interested in great bonuses and increased shares, not the wellbeing of those who produce that wealth.
