Rule Comments, I remember a high-school economics course in which the teacher strongly emphasized that shareholder votes ensure "corporate democracy". If the SEC goes along with the current procedure, then that idea will become a total myth. I worked long and hard throughout my career, which eventually destroyed my health and forced me into early retirement. Luckily, I have some money invested in a decent mutual fund which at least boosts my income a couple of hundred dollars per month. I take very seriously the idea that corporations have an obligation to act in a responsible and honest manner. Without small-investor voices like mine, it all comes down to what wealthy CEO's and their cronies want. George Stradtman [redacted]
