Hidden deals behind the screens of a competitive marketplace do not allow for free and open bidding, nor the participation of all market participants in a visable and true bidding process. If a marketplace that is open to all participants equally, and allows for competitive bidding on its products is desirable for best functioning/results, then ban this practice.
