All government officials must be BANNED from all forms of economic growth besides their government issued paychecks.
They were elected to legislate on behalf of their constituents because they sought to create a brighter future for their communities and their country.
By allowing ANY government official to earn supplementary income besides their government issued paycheck they run the risk of legislating/acting on a conflict of interests between their constituents and their wallets.
This must include family members as the Pelosi's have taught us.
Frankly, I am embarrassed that this is even part of the conversation.
Pro athletes aren't allowed to bet on the games they play in, why are government officials allowed to bet on the laws they pass?
A full investigation should be launched into every single government employee who is actively trading, SEC included.
The corruption in the United States of America is disgusting. You are supposed to be protecting us.
You are failing.
