Dear Sir
The basic principal of equity ownership:
When I purchase a share certificate of a company I have purchased a percentage of that company with the valuation being derived from a division of the overall float.
If brokerages can manufacturer shares out of 'thin air' then it's quite simple imho - the whole share ownership system is broken and fraudulent. Despite this the US regulators only see a problem if it's a financial stock!!
It's a simple question but why should I or my family entertain listed equity ownership anymore?
