Not closing the loophole, American (including Canada) stock markets are becoming killing fields day by day.
Investment banks, hedge funds, colluding with brokerages, exert their enormous weight on small companies, wipe them out one by one. The market is littered with remains of companies who otherwise would be vibrant and prosperous. Meanwhile the big players collect extraordinary amount of wealth from smaller investors.
This is against the principal and moral standard of any fair, just society
