October 31, 2022 Seriously, we need to talk about whether or not a company can lend out securities that are owned by their customers without their customers permission? Not only that, but you want to ask about if they need to disclose this? Come on SEC do better If people understood that their brokerages are lending their securities out to be sold back again them, people would be outraged. When they find out they make a huge amount of money doing this, they will light torches and grab pitchforks. How bad do you want our country to burn? Enough with PFOF, securities lending, and your complicity in the crimes that accompany these actions. Maximum disclosure is required. Let's bring a tiny modicum of trust back to the markets through intelligent regulation and transparent reporting.
