October 31, 2022 In an age where computers are used for creating and displaying data, why should we not have as much transparency in a public market as possible? A computer is able to process this information nearly instantly, and for the richest funds in the world, they can support this infrastructure change. Changing lending data to being updated every fifteen minutes would provide significantly more accurate data than the comparatively huge delay there is now. This is a necessary change because investors today are more aware of the significance lending shares has on securities that is needed to make a completely informed decision on investing in such securities.
