October 12, 2022 I am in favor of this proposed rule because it will allow me to better assess the news reports concerning companies in which I am considering investing or in which I am invested. Under the present reporting, any inquiry I might make into the relative short/long positions of market participants is useless, given the delays. It is hoped that with this proposed regime, it may be possible to assign some weight to the \"reports\" and \"research\" being released.
