I am for this rule change and encourage the government agency who is working FOR THE PEOPLE and not hedge funds and big banks to start changing their allegiance to get in line with the American people.
Short selling is a harm to the economy and provides less and less trust in the market. We're not going in the right direction. It should tossed out completely for the manipulation it provides and the overall corruption.
However, if short selling can not be stopped, very strict and stringent reporting MUST occur. I think there is blatant corruption in the market especially in short selling practices.
