I wanted to comment that I believe that any steps that the SEC can take to increase the level of transparency and accountability surrounding the purchasing of international securities would be a huge step in the right direction. In fact, it seems strange to me that any stakeholder would be against reporting of transactions, even if it increases the administration burden on relevant parties. Systems can be adjusted, staff members can be hired - what cannot be replaced is trust in the world's largest securities market. As a retail investor, it would support building that trust for me.

Note: I mention International securities because I am commenting as someone from another country who purchases shares in companies from the United States.

Please note that the phone number is incorrect as I was unable to submit my comment using my actual phone number. My phone number is (+61)402612469. Please adjust your systems so that international numbers can be properly submitted.
