Any and all transparency in trading builds a healthier market by allowing traders both large and small to make informed, strategic decisions about which companies to invest in and why. Knowing the key players that are causing a stock to drop or rise due to their position is a significant data point that should have been recorded at the dawn of the market for investors to be able to consider when choosing a company to invest in.

Moreover, sociopolitical influences on the market are, regrettably, becoming a major influence on stock trading. Because of this, if key industries are being targeted by bad actors who aim to undermine the supply chain through short selling and media manipulation, the proposed data set would allow for the analysis to determine who, if anyone, is threatening the economy of the United States of America, if not a myriad of other criminal behaviors in tandem for their personal profit and the undermining of national security.

I suggest we not only pass this proposal, but we also utilize it as a stepping stone to shine regulatory light in all areas of the stock market, it is long overdue.
