 Dear Secretary Countryman:
I am writing in strong support of rule 10c-1, Reporting of Securities Loans.

Growing up, investing was encouraged as a way to secure a sizable retirement and economic stability as a retired, working class citizen. I started investing at 18 years old and have been doing so for 20 years. I recently started investing in individual companies I believed in with extra hard earned cash after I paid taxes and living expenses. The companies I invested in were companies I believed in and had the support of many working class individuals like myself. Through hours of research, I chose to invest in these select few companies. Unfortunately, my investment did not turn out the way I imagined. Despite a large retail and institutional interest with increasing on balance volume, the stock price plummeted. Through research and dedicated hard work by hard working class individuals like myself, we believe there to be evidence of mis-reporting and under reporting from institutions who sold shares short in the market. Transparency is necessary to keep keep and hold institutions an
d bad actors in the wealth and finance sector responsible, in order to protect the interests of individuals like myself who are the backbone of America. Please enforce rules and regulations that make these companies report positions and trades in order to protect hard working people all over the world. Without this transparency, white collar crime and the destruction of American companies by the greed of a select few will continue to decimate the retirement accounts of millions of individuals. Thank You.

Sincerely,

Garrett Rebel
