October 10, 2022 What good is outdated data? What good is inaccurate data? Both retail investors and companies should be protected from nefarious actors who abuse the markets through short selling in the dark. Institutions market AI, supercomputers, and advanced algorithms, far more than what the average retail investor has at their disposal, and still demand loopholes and opaque rules and regulations to operate. Transparency is what the market needs. Fairness is what the market needs. Open access to information is what all investors need. Everything that can be accounted for must be accounted for. How does a security ever reach over 100% short interest? Negligence at best fraud at worst. -Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
