I am writing in strong support of rule 10c-1, Reporting of Securities Loans.\"
Never before has the systemic fraud perpetrated by banks and hedge funds been so widely understood and documented by retail investors. I remind you of your mission: \"protecting investors, maintaining fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitating capital formation.\"
The SEC must promulgate rule 10c-1 in order to remain in line with its mission. There are no credible arguments to the contrary.
