October 8, 2022 Shorting right now is not defensible as a part of healthy market structure, and our policies should reflect tighter and indeed ENFORCEABLE standards to reign in criminal activity that looks to have put the financial well- being of millions/billions at risk. If someone wants to bet against a stock, the must be forced to locate that share and purchase via RegSHO, which is currently toothless.
