15 minute reporting requirement is justified. If I can order a pizza online, have it charge my credit card and be at my door in 15 minutes, then the least the reporting requirement should be is 15 minutes.
Working class people need those with power to wield it honestly. Short selling in the dark happens even with Regulation SHO, as demonstrated with UBS fined by FINRA. Timely transparency helps accountability and holds bad actors responsible.
Retail will benefit by real price discovery with timely reporting requirements as volume is not controlled by naked short selling
