I am a millennial physician I working in the US midwest region. It is sad to see how far regulatory capture has gone in our financial markets, how distorted the balance of power is between large funds and retail investors has become. Why do I as a retail investor feel the need to submit comments on something so far outside my area of knowledge yet significantly affects us all? Is there still anybody trying to do the right thing or are you there to just give the people with money even more of an advantage?
There is little semblance of a free and fair market left. These large players carve out all sorts of loophole recipes to siphon more money back to themselves. It is infuriating. How would you like going to a doctor and not being able to get a straight answer because he was only trying to fleece you, and to find out it was within the accepted standard of conduct. I have been so angry at the complete lack of transparency in our financial system and I will angrily await the outcome.
