October 8, 2022 Greater transparency would greatly raise faith in the US markets. I understand there are difficulties involved, but when the common populace loses faith in the fairness of systems by which wealth is generated there is the risk of great social upheaval. The gap in accurate and correct information between investment professionals and the public they ostensibly serve is probably too great to ever truly be bridged, but this would be a good step. Too often, we regular folks only clearly come to understand what Wall Street is doing when we are reading a news article in hindsight explaining how they did something criminal/harmful to the real economy. I hope you implement the intraday reporting requirement and take further steps to ensure/assure that the markets both are and are seen to be working on a fair basis.
