August 20, 2022 I support the reporting of securities lending as I believe that more data in this topic will promote transparency in the markets, especially in an area that large institutions have such influence that could lead to increased risk to investors. Lent securities hidden in aggregate data loads and even failure to delivers could lead to unchecked economic damage. With transaction by transaction reporting within 15 minutes, a lot of this risk, possible fraud and damage can be alleviated.
