August 16, 2022 Good Morning, I am writing this comment to support the proposed rule. For markets to be balanced and fair, we need more transparency. This rule will do exactly that. Aggregates are not transparent. The 15 minute rule is incredibly important to prevent fraud. It is worth the cost. Victimized companies need a greater ability to defend themselves against predators. Short selling in the dark harms true competition and price discovery. Retail traders would benefit greatly from this rule because they would be able to easier decide how much risk they are willing to take because they will know that there wont be a rug pull when other funds operate in the dark. Some of the comments on this proposal are written by companies that are required to bring balance to the market. This rule will in fact do that, but those commenters oppose the rule.
