I am writing to you today because my financial advisor recently advised me to consider an annuity contract. While I was investigating his suggestion, I came across your proposal. In my view, there is room for improvement in the proposal you have presented. I am feeling uneasy about my advisor's recommendation to invest in an annuity contract because he has been evasive about the product's cost and how it compares to an investment in a mutual fund. Despite his lack of clarity, he seems convinced it is the right fit for me. This raises concerns because I suspect it might be influenced by a significant undisclosed commission he stands to gain. Unfortunately, the sales documents I've received lack transparency in this regard. I have not found any indication that your proposal mandates the disclosure of this crucial information.
