Reading through the Comments on S7-16-18, there is a lot of concern regarding the operations of the SEC's Whistleblower Program. Particularly around communication and addressing the concerns of Whistleblowers.
I would like to inquire why the SEC has not addressed these concerns in the proposed rules? It is unacceptable if the SEC's Whistleblower Office can just ignore a Whistleblower who is inquiring on the most effective way to submit information or inquiring about the status of a Whistleblower Claim.
I would like to see the SEC track the number of Whistleblower Complaints and get feedback from actual Whistleblowers so that appropriate changes and improvements can be made to address the concerns of the Whistleblowers who are risking their life, their future, and their jobs in order to protect others from financial fraud.
