Chairman Christopher Cox

Please do not limit the ability of shareholders to file shareholder resolutions. I invest in socially-responsible companies for three reasons--their screens, their interest in community investment, and their shareholder activism.

I want the mutual funds I invest in to be able to bring proposals for consideration. I am always interested to read the assertion in many proxy statements that the company can adopt most shareholder resolutions at any time. It seems to me that bringing forward shareholder statements of value, requiring corporate transparency, and defining corporate responsibility are the sorts of actions least likely to come from the inner circle.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Polly Strovink
