These fees need to be reduced or eliminated. Most people don't realize or understand what they are or why they are being charged. It is a corporate tax or little more than another unearned bonus to business elites for pushing pre-packaged products. Boy, that sounds familiar. It is a rip off for the consumer. If it was tied to the performance of the fund, then it would be a realistic fee earned by the seller and the fund.
