As a investment professional series 7, 24, 65 and insurance licensed agent I believe that 151a should be passed. There is nothing bad about requiring index annuity sales people to be securities licensed. The products are good in the right context. But need to be used in a overall financial plan.
I have seen too many sales people advise people to put money into this investment with no thought of how it works as a part of a total portfolio.
