I am totally against this action, it is not right to require equity indexed annuities to be written by a series 6 or series 7 licensed holder. This will limit the number of agents that can offer these fine products to our consumers including myself. It has worked fine in the past just like it is, this is just another way the GOVT. is trying to control our consumer rights.
Again, keep it like it presently is and do not pass a law that would require such.
