I oppose this ruling. Indexed annuities have been the domain of insurance since the industry segment was established.
There is no purpose to re-classifying them, except to expand the line of stock brokers.
Why change or fix things if they are already working well and not broken?
Indexed annuities are a main stay of my profession and career, as well as a majority of insurance professionals.
It will detrimental to my livelihood if they are reclassified.
I hope you will consider that the system is presently working well and is in no need of reclassification.
