I am opposed to makeing fixed index annuities , having them become securities products. Fixed index annuities are insurance products , ( and as with all insurance products... transfer risk to the insurance company, taking the risk away from the general public ) and thus bring peace of mind to the buying public. As with any product, they must be suitable, well explained and no product is right for everyone.... but the insurance industry transfers to risk off of the customer.... securities products put the risk on the customer/ general public. Our society needs and the public needs a healthy insurance indusrty...KEEP Fixed Index Annuities Insurance products. Sincerely,Ken Walbridge
