Please reconsider palcing indexed annuities under the designation of investment. These products are highly regulated currently through the state insureance departments. Further comliance and suitibility are already inforce regarding the sale of these products. Further, they currently are insured by the state guarantee association with safe guartds the deposit and interst earned. Making them a security would remove them from that protection which could further put seniors money at risk.
