I absolutely believe that the indexed annuities should be considered a security. Insurance agents have no idea what they are selling and are not qualified to provide indexed annuities as a solution. If they want to continue providing this product as a solution they can become licensed.
Clients need to be protected from predators armed with only a simple insurance license.
