Dear Sir,
It has come to my attention that the SEC is proposing to add financial disclosure rules which will require businesses to include information about climate change in their registration statements and annual reports.

The SEC was created to fight investor fraud --- NOT to control or collect climate policies. These rules would add undue burdens to businesses and further bloat of our government bureaucracy. These rules will only drive inflation and penalize American companies.

The SEC does not have the expertise to address climate issues and should stay in their own lane.

The SEC should NOT adopt these rules.

Respectfully,
Sally Bolton
