Dear SEC Commissioners and staff:

You are correct to be considering requiring public companies under your jurisdiction to assess their climate change risks and make regular disclosures to the public (shareholders) of what they (or their climate/economic experts) believe may be the impact of climate change on their businesses going forward.

As a private investor who hopes the earth will sustain human life for a few more centuries -- but who has grave doubts considering the misuse of our resources demonstrated daily by humanity including our publicly owned enterprises -- I urge you to adopt such a requirement, make it tough, and enforce it firmly.

And mandate ESG assessments and disclosures, as well!

Thank you
Peace
