First of all I am a Father and Grandfather who is concerned for my children and Grandchildren. I continually work everyday to ensure they have a safe and comfortable world to live in.
My concerns with this bill are many. One, I see this as an unfair expectation upon most Companies and near an impossible task to accomplish in most cases. To accomplish this task will add considerable cost to most businesses which in turn always results in an increased cost to the consumer. In then uncertain economic situation we find ourselves in, it seems that this is a poorly timed government overreach.
Two, the information gained from such a laborious task would be so large that it seems unlikely that it could be used to assimilate any real conclusion. The cost to process and manage such data would be astronomical at a government level. There again these costs always get passed to the Public. With our current Government debt and increased spending at government level this also seems to be poorly timed.
Three, the gained information from an endeavor like this seems to be aimed more at the special interest groups aimed imposing a personal agenda without measuring the impact and benefit to our country and world as a whole.
Four, In reviewing what information is being asked to obtained, it seems that anything more than an educated guess seems unlikely due to the difficulty/ impossibility of gathering this data. In this case this seems to be a monumental expense with little factual data.
I hop you will hear my concerns and reconsider this Proposal.
