Regarding the SEC proposed rule for Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. I am opposed to this proposal. For just some of the following reasons. 1.Existing rules already cover material climate risks. 2. The proposal will not lead to comparable, consistent, and reliable disclosures. 3. The Commission lacks authority to propose this rule. 4. The Commission underestimates the costs of the proposal. Our economy is having a hard enough time, the last thing we need are more regulations.
