To Whom It May Concern: As a single American with barely any family left to support me if something bad happens to me, my budget is minimal and my carbon footprint is as small as I can make it. I try and conserve water, electricity, and recycle. I cannot afford to buy an electric car; I cannot afford to turn my thermostat below 80 degrees as I cannot afford the increase in my electricity bill when I do.
