These rules fall outside the scope of the SEC. These rule changes may be targeted at public companies, but nearly all of the raw materials used by the companies are produced by the ag and mining industries, and will ultimately further disrupt our already struggling supply chain. Remember that congress is responsible for interstate commerce, not executive agencies. If there needs to be changes made within ag and mining industries, then let the respective government agencies advise and congress legislate. Executive agencies such as the SEC have gone far out of bounds in executing on their stated mission. As a farmer and Director of Sales Operations for a large animal health company, we simply dont have the technology to support the downstream effects of these proposed rules. It also drives farm consolidation which introduces more risk to our food supply. Please, reject this proposed rule.
