Dear Commissioner Gary Gensler, I farm in Caroline County, Virginia. I am submitting comments on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed rule on the Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. This is overreach by the Securities and Exchange Commission. We are already heavily regulated by multiple agencies at the local, state and the federal level. Please do not implement this rule, it is a feel good rule that will unnecessarily burden farmers and ranches, accomplishing nothing. Thank you for listening to my concerns.
