Dear Commissioner Gary Gensler, I am writing to submit comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s proposed rule on the Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. The proposed rule is welcome so that investors have accurate knowledge of the companies they are investing in. Responsible companies must be identified as well as those who talk climate responsibility and continue to pollute and contribute to carbon pollution. The proposed rule's focus on the value chain for climate-related risks and impacts under Scope 3 is a good start. Farmers must play a leading role in climate sustainability. I urge you to do more.
