This is absolutely the best avenue to ensure that companies cannot fool investors and consumers with vague, immeasurable, or insincere statements about climate responsibility and carbon offsets. It is the function of the government to provide security, leadership and representation and this proposal falls well within that category. We live in a society, good or bad, where money counts above all. We must have better visibility into companies' climate impact to be able to vote with our dollars. Kate Rosselot
